INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY -I led the instructional technology committee and Tech Department in gathering input from teachers and staff about implementing and purchases of new school technologies. Provided technology tools used to promote college readiness, 21st century learning, and support for PARCC testing. Expert in assessing resources and ensured support for ongoing implementation of new technological resources for a school of 4100 students. Provided support and planning for purchases of all school technology equipment to promote use of technology in the classroom. Provided professional development opportunities for teachers to learn how to utilize new equipment in the classroom. Organized the largest CPS technology event, Tech Talks to introduce new vendors and educational technologies to all attending CPS schools.
