DESIGN AND TRANSFORMATION OF LEARNING SPACES

“Our findings show that classroom design matters – it can transmit stereotypes to high school students about who belongs and who doesn’t belong in STEM classes.”
– Alison Master University of Washington

I created innovative concepts to successfully modernize 23 classrooms into new learning spaces which now host most popular programs such as Aquaponics, Sound Engineering, Aerospace Physics, Makers Lab, Incubator, Robotics, Digital Art and Sculpture, Drama, Journalism, TV production, Film, Graphic Design , Weight Room and more. Each space was carefully designed with modern technology equipment to promote collaborative practices and skill building as well as content learning. Classrooms technologies utilized: iPads, Chrome Books, projectors, apple TV, Smart Boards, 3d Printers, 3D Scanners, CNC Machines and various other equipment.
