AP PROGRAM – Lead Administrator for PSAT testing. Collected and analyzed data, developed and implemented plans of action, and monitored outcomes as they pertain to student academic achievement. I worked with the counseling department and staff to identify student potential for success in AP courses. Implemented communication strategies for parents and staff to encourage students to enroll in AP courses. Due to the efforts to get more students to enroll in AP courses Lane Tech has seen a significant increase in students ACT and AP testing scores.
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT
Developed and implemented the Continuous Improvement Work Plan which keeps the school focus throughout the year on overall improvement and success for every child.
Improved student learning through rigorous study, focused collaboration, and implementation of: Professional Development, Common Core Learning Standards, Evaluation Systems and Data Driven Instruction.
Helped design effective curriculum for our students through teams of professionals engaged in collective inquiry and collaborative planning.
Throughout the year, tracked the department progress toward meeting the CIWP goals and implementing the action steps to improve student achievement.
