After a long national search for a school where innovation and technology are at the forefront of student learning on March 27, 2018 Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled a new iPad and other products for education at Lane Tech College Prep High School in Chicago, Illinois. The event was a rare product reveal outside of Apple’s California headquarters. Lane Tech was chosen as the final choice due to the innovative structure of their curriculum and bringin apple products into innovative inquiry based technolgy classes such as the Robotics, Digital Photography, Film, Game Development, Computer Science Principles (CSP), Media Computation, Computer Science A (AP CSA – Java), Makers Lab, Graphic Design and more.
